It’s been a while since we’ve gotten an up-to-date inventory of what types of shark species call the Tank their home. Either way you go, it’s an unforgettable experience. The way the pool is designed, you swim alongside the Tank, or you can take a journey down the waterslide, which winds its way through the Tank. Still, with all of that, the most stand-out feature of the Tank pool is the main reason that it has earned an award-winning status – the 200,000-gallon shark tank that sits in the center. For starters, the pool complex itself is very nicely done, with waterslides and partially submerged lounges so you can relax in a lounge chair and enjoy the cool water at the same time, and the pool area spans three levels. The Shark Tank at Golden Nugget is an amazing pool experience. If you’re looking for a pool experience that’s more adult-themed, the Golden Nugget also offers a 21+ pool experience on the third level of the pool complex called the Hideout Pool.
